Highlights
  • The property is situated 500 m to 1000 m north of the 'Main Break' in Kirkland Lake.

  • The property contains the historical Federal Kirkland shaft with documented underground workings & gold-bearing structures.

  • Two property optioners conducted limited surface sampling totaling 28 samples at the Federal-Kirkland Property of which 7 samples returned values greater than 7 g/t gold.

  • Exploration targets include a >1 km unconformity situated between Timiskaming sediments & Kinojevis volcanics and along the contacts of the 'Vindicator' syenite intrusion.

  • In 2007, Vault completed 1,387 m from 10 diamond drill holes in two separate programs along with surface trenching and channel sampling. The programs identified two distinct styles of gold mineralization; epithermal & sulfide-style replacement both trending NNE with near vertical dips.
Access & Property Size
  • The property is situated within the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario and is easily accessed by road or trail. The property consists of three claim groups totaling approximately 450 hectares.
Geology
  • The property is situated in the Abitibi greenstone belt comprised of Kinojevis volcanogenic basement assemblages, with overlying Timiskaming volcanic & sedimentary interbedded assemblages.

  • Late intrusive events intrude the volcanic and sedimentary assemblages.

  • Gold deposition is typically vein-type emplacement in fault & fracture zones.
Exploration & Development Plans
  • Vault will review a possible follow-up program for drill hole MB07-11 that intersected 8.3 gAu/t over 0.5 m intersection and that coincides with a 15 gAu/t over 1 m as provided by historic drill hole ZKL04-01.

  • Vault will scrutinize existing property data with a possible follow-up field program in search of additional NNE mineralized trending structures.
